Who's this?Shalana, that's me ...pronounced Shu-la-nuh. (I knew you were scratching your head over that one.) I'm a small town girl in heart & values. In my professional journey of 20+ years in the publishing industry, I've lived several places across the United States from Little Rock to Kansas City to Milwaukee. Along the way, I earned both a B.F.A. in graphic design and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology. I now reside in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where I absolutely love bike rides with my family along the shore of Lake Michigan. I am a wife, mom, hardcore but eclectic solopreneur, published author and editor, jack-of-all trades designer, and all-around resourceful gal with lots of ideas.
I founded my own indie publishing business in January 2017 called 123 Journal It, and also recently created online stores at Hobby Journal Outlet and on Etsy at the Hobby Journals shop. My high quality line of religious study and hobby books are now available in paperback and spiral bound editions globally. I am thankful to work full-time as an author and book designer for my own business. If you'd like more career details, browse around my portfolio and resume pages. |
