Who's this girl?
Shalana, that's me ...pronounced Shu-la-nuh. (I just knew you were scratching your head over that one.) I'm a small town girl in heart & values. In my professional journey of 15+ years in the publishing industry, I've lived several places across the United States from Little Rock to Kansas City to Milwaukee. Along the way, I earned both a B.F.A. in graphic design and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology. Once again, I'm living the rural life in my home town of Ava, Missouri. I am a mommy, wife, entrepreneur, published author, and hopeless arts & crafts addict.
Most recently I have been a freelance contributing craft & DIY editor for Taste of Home and Country Woman magazines in 2017 and wrote a kid's felt craft how-to book for Capstone Publishing published in January 2018. I also write/design guided bible study and prayer journals for 123 Journal It, my own little self-publishing business.
