C'mon, what else could there possibly be?
Well, I've been around. Uh, around the Internet that is. I've been a DIY blogger, had my own craft business, ran an Etsy shop and created a website or two from scratch. When I'm not crafting or reading, I'm probably pecking on my laptop keys.
The Funky Felter is the craft business that I created in 2006. I was the sole-proprietor for that business from 2006 through 2010. I learned a ton about business, crafts, branding, blogging and life. There is no better teacher than being an entrepreneur.
On top of having my own craft business, I also had (and still have) an obsession with fiber arts - spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet and my favorite, felting! I've attended many fiber related craft shows and events. From that was born the Midwest Fiber Crafts blog and, more recently, the updated website created at the end of 2012. The new site is still a work in-progress.
Whew! After three years of studying while working full-time, I'm finally done earning an M.Ed. in instructional technology. While in grad school, I wrote many (many, many!) papers and also explored hands-on instructional technology through presentation and web design, curriculum development and learning management systems. Below are links to a variety of my graduate school academic projects.
